  1. Time Out. This one may be difficult if you have a toddler or other children to attend too, but when and where possible allow yourself 10 minutes each day to have some much needed alone time. Weather to have a cup of tea in piece or a soak in the bath without the distraction of the outside world. Giving yourself time to reflect on certain aspects and allowing yourself down time will help you to gain a peaceful mind.

  1. Nutrition. This one comes without saying. Watching your eating habits and choosing healthy meals is not only a good choice for you but for the little miracle growing inside you. Look for wholemeal nutritious food that will give you longer lasting energy throughout the day. Avoid snacking on those junk foods. Crisps cakes etc. try adding more fruit and vegetables to your diet, a great source of energy and clean eating. Now is a great time to start to experiment with different types of foods. How about a vegetable stir fry? After all what you eat your baby can taste too.
