So let’s get real about your body after you have a baby. The stuff no one tells you about. Sore nipples, stitches in unmentionable places, new stretch marks showing up. I mean it’s all worth it for that precious babe, but it’s not all pretty. I’m so excited this time around to try out some all natural, organic products from Bee Maternal organics. Here’s a little sneak peak of what I got!

First up, all natural belly balm. This stuff has been a lifesaver already with dry skin and stretch marks. I like it better than most lotions because it is oil based, and keeps my skin moisturized all day. It has a light scent and a little goes a long way!

Next is this “nip stick” nipple balm. Just a side note, mamas, don’t let anyone tell you breast feeding doesn’t hurt! Even if you’re doing it right, I’m just going to assume no one has been aggressively sucking on your nipple for an hour at a time, so some toughening up is required! This stuff looks like it will be great. I love that it’s a stick I can carry with me and just rub on there, as opposed to a cream that I have to open, squeeze, and apply. I also love that its all natural so I don’t have to worry about nursing the baby with it still applied.

Now this green tea hand sanitizer will be awesome. It smells amazing, and as a mama, you can never have too much hand sanitizer. Bonus use: spray it at unwanted strangers who come too close to your baby (this is not an approved use by the brand, merely a suggestion from me). But honestly, I like that it’s a blend of essential oils, so no worries about using it then touching delicate baby skin.

And last, but definitely not least, is this perineal spray. Listen ladies, whether you have stitches or not, you are likely to have some wear and tear down there, including maybe swelling, hemorrhoids, small scratches, etc. There are many products available to help with these, but I like finding ones that have organic and natural ingredients. That’s a sensitive area, made even more sensitive, so it makes sense to avoid anything chemical based. I did give this spray a little try on my hand and I love the cooling sensation it brought. Like a little breeze right on your lady parts, which will most definitely be welcome after pushing a baby out.

So there’s a little preview of some of the Bee Maternal organics products! Be sure to check back in July after this baby pops out. I’ll have a full review up and I’ll let you know how the products are working for me!
